Webinar Description

APTA-Geriatrics convened a five-member expert guideline development group to create an evidence-based clinical practice guideline for physical therapy management of fall risk in community-dwelling older adults. Using a systematic literature review and APTA’s rigorous methodology, the group developed recommendations and an algorithm that were externally reviewed by clinicians and academicians with expertise in fall prevention. The guideline is intended to support physical therapists and physical therapist assistants involved in fall risk management for older adults living in the community.
