September 2024 Hybrid Certified Exercise Expert for Aging Adults Cohort
Take CEEAA at your pace! The earlier your register, the more flexibility you get! The in-person capstone weekend for this cohort is September 13-15 in Sacramento, CA.
Designing and applying an effective examination and exercise prescription
Measuring the effectiveness and reflecting the current evidence of exercise for all aging adults
A flexible, cost-effective, and hands-on experience.
The process to attain the credential of CEEAA® in the hybrid format is to complete five asynchronous, interactive modes, two facilitated synchronous webinars (optional), and one in-person capstone weekend that will address evidence-based examination and different aspects of exercise design and delivery. The capstone weekend will include one practical exam and lab work.
Following the in-person capstone weekend, participants will complete one online cumulative exam. Participants will receive two attempts to achieve a 75% passing score for the exam and the practical. While all attendees will receive continuing education credit, the tests/practical exam must be completed successfully within 3 months to achieve the certification designation. Participants will be required to complete the series two years from registration.
All five self-paced modules will be available by June 30, 2024.
