Individuals with dementia often face complex cognitive impairments that impact their ability to engage in daily activities, resulting in significantly higher healthcare utilization and costs. This webinar introduces the LEAD™ Rehabilitation Framework, equipping clinicians with a strength-based, person-centered approach to help individuals with dementia benefit from rehabilitation and maintain or improve their physical function.

Nicole Dawson, PT, PhD, FNAP is an Associate Professor at the University of Central Florida and Director of the ALIVE™ Lab, with over 20 years of clinical experience and a PhD in Adult Development & Aging Psychology. She is a Board Certified Geriatric Physical Therapist Emeritus and has received multiple national awards recognizing her excellence in education and research. Dr. Dawson’s work, published in leading journals, focuses on promoting successful aging and enhancing the lives of older adults.
