Cancellation Policy

Cancellation requests must be received in writing by the course coordinator at least 7 days before the course’s capstone start date. 

At this time, participants may earn CEU credit for the portion of the CEEAA course they completed before cancellation. A certificate of completion will be provided at the time of cancellation confirmation from the Course Coordinator. 

Registration fees will be refunded in full if no educational content has been completed at the time of cancellation. After any portion of the educational modules has been completed, participants will be eligible to be refunded 50% of their registration fees. No refunds will be made for cancellation or non-attendance of the capstone weekend less than 7 days before the capstone’s start date. 

If the course should be cancelled by APTA Geriatrics or the host site, registration fees will be refunded in full. The Academy of Geriatrics will not be responsible for reimbursement of non-refundable airline or train tickets, or hotel stays. If applicable, registrants will be notified of cancellation on or before 30 days before the course start date.
