About the Course

The Balance & Fall Prevention Professional Credential is designed for physical therapists who are ready to improve the lives of their older patient community. This course provides a solid foundation through a series of educational components completed over a 12-month period. 

Two courses of two days each and completion of a  will take you beyond examination tools and interventions towards expertise in the science of balance and aspects of fall prevention, particularly for community-dwelling older adults.

Providence St. Vincent Medical Center

Participants will attend two courses on May 2 - 4 and October 24 - 26, 2025 at Riverside Health College of Health Sciences. Additionally, participants will register for a skills check time slot at Course 1 and a Practical Exam time slot at Course 2.

Registration closes April 4, 2025. All registrations will be audited based upon APTA Geriatrics member status.
